Part I Opening

女士们，先生们，远道而来的各位贵宾朋友们，大家晚上好！很高兴今天能和大家在这里相聚，也很荣幸能够作陕西旅游推介。

Distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon! Today, it’s my great honor to present Shaanxi Tourism to all of you.

陕西省地处中国内陆，面积20.58万平方公里，人口约3800万。位于中国版图最中心的位置，是联接中国东、中部地区和西南、西北的交通枢纽。中国的大地原点和国家授时中心均在陕西。

Shaanxi is an inland province of China with an area of 205.8 thousand square kilometers and a population of 38 million. Shaanxi is the geographic center of China, and a transportation hub linking China’s east and central regions as well as the southwest and northwest regions. The geodetic origin and time service center of China are all located in Shaanxi.

陕西从北向南划分为3个不同的地区，陕西北部是雄浑壮阔的黄土高原，中部是富饶厚朴的关中渭河平原，南部是温润清秀的秦巴山地。

Shaanxi has 3 natural geographic regions, namely, the loess plateau in the north, Weihe Plain in the middle and the Qin-ba mountains in the south.

近年来，陕西旅游以“建设国际一流文化旅游中心”为目标，着力建设丝绸之路起点旅游走廊、秦岭人文生态旅游度假圈、黄河旅游带、红色旅游系列景区四大旅游高地。

In recent years, aimed at building a first-class international cultural tourism center, we are vigorously accelerating the construction of 4 major tourism highlands, which are the Tourism Corridor of the Starting Point of the Silk Road, Qiling Mountains Cultural and Ecological Tourism Resort Circle, Yellow River Tourism Belt, and Red Tourism Scenic Spots.

首先我带领大家走进我们的第一大旅游高地——丝绸之路起点旅游走廊。

First of all, I would like to introduce our first tourism highland, that is, the Tourism Corridor of the Starting Point of the Silk Road.

Part II The Tourism Corridor of the Starting Point of the Silk Road

陕西是中华民族与中华文明重要的发祥地，先后有14个中国古代朝代在陕西建都，5000多年前，我们共同的祖先黄帝就生活在这里。至今，全球华人每年清明节都会在陕西的黄帝陵集体祭拜这位共同的祖先。

Shaanxi is an important cradle of Chinese nation and culture. Yellow Emperor, the ancestor of all the Chinese people created the Chinese civilization 5,000 years ago. Today, hundreds of thousands of Chinese people from all over the world will gather in Shaanxi to worship our ancestor together. Since then, 14 dynasties in Chinese history established their capitals in Shaanxi, which has a far-reaching influence on the later generations.

谈到陕西旅游，人们首先想到的就是著名的兵马俑。

When it comes to Shaanxi Tourism, the first image coming into people’s mind would be the famous Terra-cotta Warriors.

秦始皇陵是中国历史上第一个大型帝王陵墓。这些战士都是秦始皇陵墓的守护者。每个战士都是依据当时士兵的样貌雕刻而成的。您可以看到他们的脸、表情、发型，甚至手和脚都是不一样的。正如您刚刚看到的这尊跪射俑，他的指甲、小胡子、眉毛、发辫，甚至是鞋底的细节都栩栩如生，这些雕刻的细节令人惊叹。从他的身上，甚至可以看到他盔甲上的颜色。事实上，这些颜色都是2200年前画的。不知道您有没有注意到一件有趣的事情?这些士兵都有小肚子。也许2000年前，有小肚子的男人会更受欢迎。

The Mausoleum of Emperor Qinshihuang is the first large-scale imperial tomb in Chinese history. All these warriors are the guardians of the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor. Each warrior was sculpted according to the real army soldiers from Qin Dynasty. You can tell they all have a different face, expression, hairstyle, and their hands and feet are different, too. For example, look at this kneeling archer, you can see the finger nails, moustache, eyebrows, braided hair, and even the sole of the shoes. From this warrior, you can also see the color remains on his armor. Actually, all the warriors were painted 2,200 years ago. However, in the early days of excavation, we couldn’t preserve the colors and they were quickly oxidized in the air. When you are looking at the terra-cotta warriors, have you noticed an interesting thing? Well, all the warriors in this museum have a little belly. Maybe it would be very handsome for men to have a belly 2,000 years ago.

在陕西，有世界上保存最完整，规模最大的古城墙—西安城墙，其全长13.74公里，是当今世界现存规模最大、保存最完整的古代城墙；西安的标志性建筑—西安钟楼就位于城墙环绕的古城区中心；西安碑林，被称为石质书库，收藏着中国历史上重要的文化、书法、艺术碑石；华清宫，是古代皇家园林和帝王温泉养生场所；法门寺，是中国古代的皇家寺院，保存着释迦牟尼的佛骨舍利和许多稀世珍宝，是全世界佛教信徒的敬仰之地；陕西历史博物馆内珍藏着37万件出土于陕西大地上的重要文物，是陕西历史文化和中国古代文明的艺术殿堂……漫步在西安这块风水宝地，其浓郁的古风遗韵，让我们仿佛穿越在古代和现代之间。

Xi’an City Wall from Ming Dynasty, with a total length of 13.74 kilometers, is the most complete, largest and best-preserved military defense system in the world. On top of the City Wall, you can go jogging, riding bikes, taking a golf cart, or even running marathon. Later, you are going to enjoy a grand welcome ceremony at the south gate of the City Wall. The Forest of Stone Steles Museum has collected important stone tables from famous artists and calligraphers in Chinese history. If you are interested in calligraphy, this is the best place to go. This is Huaqing Palace, which is the earliest imperial hot spring resort in China. Famen Temple, Shaanxi History Museum has a large collection of beautiful treasures which have been excavated from our province. Walking in the city of Xi’an, with the cultural atmosphere around you, it would make you feel like traveling between ancient and modern times.

在陕西大地上，还有着埋葬74位皇帝的73座帝王陵寝。茂陵、汉阳陵、乾陵，置身其中，仿佛穿越时空，被中国古代帝王的智能、胆识与气魄所震撼，所以才会发出这样的感慨。只有来到陕西、来到西安，才能真切的感知中国历史、中华文明。

This land accommodates 73 mausoleums of 74 emperors in history, including Maoling mausoleum, Hanyangling mausoleum, Qianling mausoleum. Only when you come to Shaanxi and Xi’an in particular, will you truly perceive the Chinese history and Chinese civilization.

第三部分 秦岭人文生态旅游度假圈

Part III Qinling Mountain Cultural & Ecological Tourism Resort Circle

秦岭山脉，位于中国大陆的中心，守护着陕西这片黄天厚土，被称为“中国中央国家公园”，是中国南北气候、水文、植被的分水岭。

Qinling Mountains crossing Shaanxi province is the water-shed demarcation line of north and south of China. It is also renowned as the China’s Central National Park.

秦岭造就了五岳之一的华山，其终年云蒸雾罩，自古就有“华山天下险”的美誉；秦岭主峰太白山，高寒奇秀，至今仍存有第四纪冰川遗迹；坐落在秦岭山脚下人文气息深厚得关中民俗博物院，渭河两岸则是另一番如画的美景；汉水之滨—汉中更有中国最美油菜花海的称号；独特秀美的自然风貌也孕育了秦岭四宝—大熊猫、金丝猴、朱鹮、羚牛，以及其他珍稀的野生动物。秦岭四宝的繁衍生息，正是人与自然，人与动物和谐相处的典范。

Huashan Mountain is one of the five holy mountains in China and is called the most precipitous mountain in the world. Throughout history, Huashan Mountain has always been a popular place for people who love challenge and adventure. Taibai Mountain is the highest peak of Qinling Mountain range, and it still preserved the remains of glaciers from the Quaternary Period. Because of the Qinling Mountains, we can enjoy the gorgeous view on both sides of the Weihe River and the most beautiful rape flowers in Hanzhong. Here is also the paradise for wild animals. Giant pandas, golden-hair monkeys, takins and crested ibis are the four treasures of Qinling Mountains.

陕西自古就是温泉的故乡，在这里我特别想介绍一下陕西的温泉旅游，中国最早的温泉就是在陕西境内，华清宫就是以温泉泡汤而著名，现在全省温泉旅游资源丰富，设备齐全的温泉酒店有100多处。

Shaanxi has been the hometown of hot springs since ancient times. Here I would like to introduce the hot spring tourism in Shaanxi. The earliest hot springs of China are located in Shaanxi. Huaqing Palace is famous for its hot springs, and currently Shaanxi has abundant hot spring tourism resources, with over 100 well-equipped hot spring hotels.

第四部分 黄河旅游带

Part IV Yellow River Tourism Belt

黄河是中华民族的母亲河，是中华民族文明的摇篮。828公里沿黄观光路，从西安出发，沿着秦直道北上延安榆林，饶大环线返回，可游览黄河沿线50多处景点。

The Yellow River is the mother river of the Chinese nation and the cradle of the Chinese nation’s civilization. The 828-km road for sightseeing along the Yellow River, known as the most beautiful road in Shaanxi, links more than 50 viewing spots together and is a golden route for self-driving tours. Visitors could start from Xi’an, travel along the route of Qin Direct Road (Zhidao) to Yan’an and Yulin in the north, then go back along the loop.

如果您自驾驶过这条公路，可以沿途欣赏到中国最大的金色大瀑布—壶口瀑布、壮观的乾坤湾、魔幻的波浪谷、神奇的香炉寺。美丽的洽川黄河湿地，相信你一定会为大自然的鬼斧神工感到惊叹。这里还有史圣司马迁故里韩城，有着上千年完整的古镇与乡村党家村、袁家村、陈炉古镇、可以体验到陕西人祖祖辈辈的生活方式。

Along this road, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Hechuan wetland, the largest yellow waterfall in China - Hukou waterfall, Qiankun Bay, Wave Valley, Xianglu Temple, etc. What’s more, you could also pay a visit to Hancheng, the hometown of Sima Qian, ancient towns and villages like Dangjia Village, Yuanjia Village, Chenlu Ancient Town, etc. For hundreds of years, generations of people have been living and working here in peace and harmony.

第五部分 红色旅游系列景区

Part V Red Tourism Scenic Spots

陕西，不但承载着古代中国的灿烂文明，也记录着中国现代革命的光辉历程。正如习近平主席讲过一句话：“陕西是民族的根，延安是民族的魂”。

Shaanxi not only enjoys the splendid civilization of ancient China, but also records the glorious history of modern revolution in China. As Chinese President Xi Jinping once said, “Shaanxi is the root of the Chinese nation, while Yan’an is the soul of it.” Here is the spiritual home of our Chinese nation.

宝塔山、枣园、杨家岭和铜川照金、等众多革命旧址，是我们中华民族的精神家园。它们见证了中国共产党领导的中国人民不断走向胜利的伟大征程。

There are many Revolutionary Sites, such as the Pagoda Hill, Zaoyuan and Yangjialing, etc., making Shaanxi a witness of Chinese people’s great journey to success under the leadership of CPC.

第六部分 体验陕西

Part VI Experience in Shaanxi

古老与现代、传统与时尚、人文与自然在陕西西安古城墙等到了完美融合，如果你来到陕西，你就是最尊贵的客人，你可以体验到世界最高迎宾礼《梦长安-大唐迎宾盛礼》，也可以在华清宫千年历史遗址中欣赏《长恨歌》……也可以三两好友漫步古城，感受夜色西安，在西安城墙边的酒吧欢聚，一定会为你带来前所未有的美妙感受。

Only in Shaanxi, can you have the special experience of the combination of Chinese culture and modern life. If you visit Shaanxi, you are the respected guest for us. You will experience the Grand Tang Style Welcoming Ceremony, and Song of Eternal Sorrow performance in Huaqing Palace. You may have a sip of beer in a bar while enjoying the beautiful view of Xi’an City Wall. All of these will provide you with very unique experience in Shaanxi.

秦岭与黄河滋养着千年的陕西大地，为陕西形成了独具特色的民风民俗。

Because of the nourishment of Qinling Mountains and Yellow River for thousands of years, unique local folk customs have been formed in Shaanxi.

中国最古老的剧种秦腔、民间艺术的代表凤翔泥塑、户县农民画、陕北剪纸、陕北民歌、安塞腰鼓、陈仓社火等等都展示了陕西人民的美好情怀与对生活的热爱。

We also have various kinds of folk customs such as Shaanxi Opera, clay sculptures, farmers’ painting, paper-cuts, drum dance, etc, which all show the talent and passion of the local Shaanxi people.

到了陕西，就不得不提陕西的面食了。biangbiang面、灌汤包、肉夹馍、羊肉泡馍、凉皮、花馍，一定会让你大饱口福。

Shaanxi is also famous for its noodles here. One of its delicious noodles is named as “biang biang noodle”. While you are in Xi’an, you will have to try this noodle. Besides, you can also taste various kinds of local delicacies, such as dumpling banquet, meat buns, cold noodles, steam buns, etc.

第七部分 开放的陕西

Part VII An Open Shaanxi

陕西正建设国际一流文化旅游中心,以开放和包容的心态喜迎八方游客。

We are actively building Shaanxi into a first-class international cultural tourism center, and warmly welcome visitors all over the world with an open and inclusive mind.

7月19日，在西安成功举办“北京·上海·陕西中国入境旅游枢纽全球发布会”。建设国际旅游枢纽，讲好中国故事，扩大中国入境旅游市场的创新举措；是建设陕西国际一流文化旅游中心目标的重要抓手。

On July 19, the Global Press Conference for the Establishment of Beijing, Shanghai and Shaanxi China Inbound Tourism Hubs was held successfully in Xi’an. To achieve the goal of building Shaanxi into a first -class international cultural tourism center, it is the starting point and focus of great importance to build an international tourism hub, tell the story of China, and take innovative measures to expand China’s inbound tourism market.

目前，西安咸阳国际机场共开通57条国际航线，可直飞芬兰赫尔辛基、俄罗斯莫斯科、法国巴黎、意大利罗马、美国旧金山、澳大利亚悉尼以及韩国、日本、马来西亚、泰国等多个国家和地区，陕西与世界的距离越来越近。

Xi’an, has 57 international air-routes to different cities such as Paris, Rome, San Francisco, Sydney, and countries like Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, etc. Shaanxi becomes closer to places worldwide. 

陕西西安是中国重要的旅游集散地和交通枢纽，由陕西前往中国各主要旅游目的地交通十分便利，飞机、高铁或汽车，只需要2-5个小时即可到达。

Xi’an is an important tourist distribution center and transportation hub in China. Shaanxi has very convenient transportation to main domestic travel destinations. It only takes 2-5 hours by the domestic flights, railway or highway.

陕西省文化和旅游厅已经成功举办了五届西安丝绸之路国际旅游博览会。2019西安丝绸之路国际旅游博览会也将于2019年3月29日至3月31日在西安举行，诚挚的邀请各位朋友来陕参会。

The Department of Culture and Tourism of Shaanxi has successfully held Xi’an Silk Road International Tourism Expo for 5 times. Next year, the Expo will be held in Xi’an from March 29 to 31. 第八部分 游览陕西

Part VIII A Tour of Shaanxi

这里，我为在座的各位推荐几条陕西经典旅游线路：一是两日游线路（兵马俑、华清池长恨歌、大雁塔、城墙、钟楼、碑林、回民街）

Now, please allow me to recommend several classic tourism routes in Shaanxi to you present here. If you are staying in Shaanxi for two days, you can do the highlight tour--the Terra-cotta Warriors museum, Huaqing Palace, Big&Small Wild Goose Pagodas, City Wall, Bell Tower, A Song of Eternal Sorrow Performance.

二是三日游线路（汉阳陵、乾陵、法门寺）；

If you are staying one more day, you can travel westward to visit Hanyangling Museum, Qianling Mausoleum, and Famen Temple.

三是深度游线路（华山、太白山、陈炉古镇、袁家村、党家村）。

If you plan to spend more days here, you may challenge the Huashan Mountain or Taibai Mountain, or you can go to the ancient villages to experience the old tradition and culture.

四是一条亲近自然的线路您可以（西安，华山，关中民俗博物院，太白山，佛坪看熊猫，洋县看朱鹮，汉中观赏油菜花）如果您有好的想法，也可以自己设计线路，体验不一样的陕西。

You could also get close to the nature, visiting Huashan Mountain, Guanzhong folk-custom Museum, Foping panda reserves, Crested ibis in Yang County, Hanzhong Rape Flowers. You may have better idea to design your own version of tour, and have different feeling of Shaanxi.
